Learning from Eachother...
The referee stops play; A45 and B67 are pushing at the whistle. Linesman A goes to deal with the players and Linesman B goes straight to the puck never looking at the players.

Managing On-ice Stress
What we Learned
There are two things that linesman B needs to consider. The first is "take care of the players then get the puck." Second, (especially if linesman B knows #1) he or she needs to keep his or her head on a swivel. This late in playoffs, the stress level is going to increase. When our bodies get stressed, we tend to get tunnel vision so heads need to be on a swivel. So, "players before puck and keep your head on a swivel."
